SOUTH BRUNSWICK, N.J. – The morning rush hour finds plenty of people in the drive-through lane at the McDonald’s on busy Route 1 in South Brunswick.
On Wednesday, a small bear also strolled through the lane.
Police say they got three calls from motorists about 9 a.m. about the bear, which appeared to be headed north in woods along the highway.
The bear appeared to be young and may have been the same animal spotted a day earlier near the Route 27 boundary with Franklin Township.
Police say bears are unusual but nor rare in the central New Jersey township.
